Book Review

Pretty Little Liars
by: Patty Pataro
Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard is a coming of age novel, which reveals the dirty secrets of Aria, Spencer, Hannah and Emily. These pretty little lairs have some dirty little secrets. Aria is falling in love with hes history teacher, Hannah is using some tricks to stay beautiful, Spencer ruined her sisters wedding and Emily is crushing on the new girl at school. But only one know all this secrets, Allison.
Back in 7th grade Aria, Spencer, Hannah and Emily where losers. But they always felt like they couldn't fit it. Then Allison came and united everyone back together, she said secrets where what kept them close, and so it was. Allison was the leader of the gang, the one who made all the decisions and comments; everyone else followed.
Allison decided that they where all going to the barn, to get their secrets back together but as always she wanted to be the leader until Emily stopped her. Allison got mad as the spoiled little brat she was and leaved very frustrated. When the rest wake up, Allison was gone. Some said she got raped, others said she commit suicide, and others think she ran away but no one really knew where she went for three years. And as Allison was gone their secrets where gone too.
Aria went out of the country during the disappearance, and the rest staid in the neighborhood. Their life's had changed completely, instead of going to parties and have fun, they spend their time crying and getting paranoid at what had happened. When they all came back to start school after three long years, “A” started texting them with all the secrets they had shared. No one knew if it was really Allison or a mysterious anonymous. A series of different acts start happening, and they all start to freak out. The real question is, who is "A" and why is she doing this.
Sara Shepard makes a wonderful job and discrabing and how teenagers feel. It shows you know you have to be more careful and I strongly recommend this book to mostly girls and has a great meaning of peer pressure and being your-slef. It will pull you in and won't seem to ever have enough, you will never want to stop. Be ready because this roller coaster is ready to begin and there's just no turning back.
